Role Profile

To support the development and implementation of Greensill’s Financial Crime Management framework, controls, procedures and AML toolkit.

  • Responsible for tracking, analysing and carrying out impact assessments
  • Provide expert advice on new regulations, enforcement actions and consultations to ensure that our AML Toolkit is compliant with regulatory requirements and best practice
  • Support the Head of AML Frameworks and Operations to ensure that new policies, procedures, and guidance are communicated effectively through circulars and training
  • Develop and maintain the AML regulatory file
  • Provide leadership and direction to Greensill senior management and the Compliance/ AML function
  • Inform key stakeholders on emerging themes, including the provision of regular reporting to the Greensill Risk Committee
  • Drive continuous improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Support the championing of a proactive Financial Crime risk culture across the business

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of financial crime policies and procedures in a globally regulated financial services firm
  • Strong advocacy and expert drafting skills
  • Extensive Financial Crime experience working within a Financial Institution that operates in multiple jurisdictions
  • In-depth knowledge of UK, EU (4, 5, and 6 MLD) and Middle East or Asia laws, regulations, legislations and regulatory processes relating to AML and financial crime with a good knowledge of how they compare to equivalent rules in the US
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of working within a high-pressure environment with competing priorities
  • A collaborative team player able to build and develop key relationships
  • Results focused and solutions orientated
  • Degree level qualified – legal qualification preferred or equivalent experience
  • ICA Financial Crime qualification (advanced level)
