Business Development Analyst – Japanese Speaking

Role Purpose

As a BD Analyst your role will be to support the team by conducting research, analysing, and preparing client materials. You will work closely with our Business Development team in a highly dynamic, flat and entrepreneurial environment. This opportunity will offer training in other elements of Greensill: origination, distribution, product, and credit.

  • Liaising with senior stakeholders from all components of the sales and origination process
  • Interaction with investors and investee companies in Japanese
  • Developing and maintaining external relationships in Japan and elsewhere
  • Some travel to Japan, California, and the Middle East for client calling purposes as needed
  • Ability to act without all information, self-starting, and confident.
  • Work with a global team across multiple time zones
  • Working with the Legal department to advance NDA and contract negotiations when required
  • As needed, supporting onboarding of suppliers for assigned client programs in conjunction with onboarding teams

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent Japanese reading and writing.
  • Relevant experience in a banking or trade position
  • Exceptional attention to detail and appearance of work product
  • Proven experience of producing effective presentations
  • Outstanding written and visual communication skills
  • Drive and desire to contribute as part of a successful team
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
