Role Purpose

This is a new role within the finance team and is intended to support the organizational expansion in to new geographical regions. The individual would be a central co-ordination point with the finance team to plan, direct and implement change as our operations move into new geographical regions. The individual will be required to have an existing broad finance knowledge base across all financial specialisms to ensure cohesive strategy and adoption of new processes. Initial project will include expansion into Asia and Middle East, however the firm’s growth strategy is aggressive and further regions are anticipated.

  • Create a strategy to support the adoption of changes as required by the project
  • Full project management from a finance perspective including regular updates to all stakeholders
  • Design and implement a full financial operating model for each country expansion
  • Support efforts through design, development and delivery
  • Full documentation of designed processes and policies for future adoption
  • Create clear and deliver key change management levers (Comms, Roadmap, Planning, Education, Stakeholder Management)
  • Support the design, delivery and roll outs of new systems, technology, business processes and education programs
  • Handover of designed processes on go-live, or following a period of direct regional support, to new regional finance teams
  • Ad hoc duties which often arise

Skills and Abilities

  • Experienced Project or Change Manager, with involvement in expanding finance functions overseas
  • Qualified accountant, with breadth of financial experience and knowledge
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situation
  • Clear communicator with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Hands on approach with ability to get into the detail; individual will be central to delivery of all required tasks
  • Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally to support projects as appropriate
