Role Purpose

This is a brand-new role where you will manage and help grow an existing platform team. The technology department is going through a cloud transformation program where you will be responsible for re-defining our current cloud infrastructure from the ground up

Accountabilities

  • Play a lead role in the design and implementation of our Greensill X Cloud transformation program.
  • Lead and implement our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery solutions and establish common platform integration patterns
  • Lead and implement our Infrastructure as Code initiatives including our IAC pipelines
  • Develop our monitoring and logging solutions for both our legacy and microservice estate
  • As Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, engaging and developing the DevOps team

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with core AWS infrastructure
  • Cloud Architecture skills, particularly relating to AWS
  • Containerisation experience such as Docker
  • Scripting experience using Bash / Python etc
  • Experience working with both Linux and Windows systems
  • Infrastructure as Code – (Terraform, CloudFormation etc)
  • Experience with version control systems e.g. GIT
  • CI/CD –continuous delivery/deployment techniques using Jenkins
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Thrives in a collaborative teamworking environment
  • Enjoys working at pace
  • Customer centric mindset with a can-do attitude
  • High degree of personal integrity, honesty and professionalism
