Role Purpose

This is a new role within the finance team and is intended to support the organizational growth along with finance projects aiming to automate processes, improve financial reporting and governance. The individual would be a driver for change and a central co-ordination point within the finance team to plan, direct and implement change.

We want a dynamic individual with a proven track record for process implementation, documentation and project management.

The Finance Project Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Design, track and report on finance projects including but not limited to those to automate processes, improve financial reporting and develop good governance
  • Assist in the design, implementation and documentation of financial controls which are appropriate to the growing global structure
  • Deliver comprehensive projects involving system and financial reporting improvements across multiple systems including Oracle NetSuite, Expensify, Adaptive and Oracle PBCS
  • Supporting projects being delivered by cross-functional project teams, and being the dedicated finance business champion
  • Project management including regular updates to all stakeholders
  • Support the design, delivery and roll outs of new systems, technology, business processes and team training programs
  • Ad hoc duties which often arise

Skills and Abilities

Required skills and abilities expected to perform this role:

  • Prior exposure to and experience of leading finance projects
  • Qualified accountant, with breadth of financial experience and knowledge
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Clear communicator with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Prior experience with Oracle NetSuite would be an advantage
  • Hands on approach with ability to get into the detail; individual will be central to delivery of all required tasks
  • Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change
