Role Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Front End developer to join our rapidly growing teams with a solid understanding of Front end technologies. The individual will have the opportunity to drive the Front End design and actively contribute to the implementation of modular and performant single page applications working with the agile teams.

    • Hands-on crafting of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript/TypeScript
    • Actively participate in project scoping, planning, design and execution
    • Contribute to building a modular and performant single page application
    • Use your knowledge of software engineering concepts to design and implement tested, reusable, and modular code
    • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
    • Solid understanding on modular design and single responsibility principle

Skills and Abilities

    • Must have experience in core Angular programming, Angular v2+ (NOT AngularJS)
    • Must have web development experience – HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript
    • Must have experience in consuming JSON based RESTful APIs
    • Experience with testing tools and processes (Karma / Jasmine)
    • Experience with state-management frameworks (RxJS / NgRX) would be an advantage
    • Experience with automation and application/product integration would be an advantage

Desirable Skills

    • Proficiency with CSS processors such as PostCSS, Sass, or Less
    • Solid understanding using front-end build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, Browserify, and npm scripts
    • Experience using Git and related tools like Bitbucket, Jira, etc
    • Experience with front-end performance topics / rendering internals
    • Experience delivering system-level technical design and documentation
    • Experience with DevOps / infrastructure systems – Amazon Web Services
