Role Purpose

The Global Alliances Director (GAD3) is the leader and owner for all business and solutions with key business partner/s. The GAD 3 is responsible and accountable for all partnership outcomes globally with a broad portfolio of smaller partners. This is a mid-level role reporting to the Greensill Head of Partnerships.

Drive Global origination revenue growth for Greensill through nominated Greensill partner/s:

  • Work with Named Partner/s to identify, develop and bring to market value-added repeatable partner centric soltuions based on Greensills product and services.
  • Build strong relationships at multiple levels with business and technical leadership within the partner organization in order to become a trusted Greensill evangelist within the partner organization
  • Ensure that we achieve revenue goals in all Greensill geographies through aggressive lead generation activities with partners
  • Maintain an accurate partner forecast
  • Support Greensill Origination transactions and engagements by building strong relationships with the Greensill Origination team.  Troubleshoot any sales engagements with the partner.  Look for new opportunities within the partner organization and drive active joint pipeline/s.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the’ partner/s competition .  Keep abreast of joint client needs , partner’s evolving business focus, partner’s business strengths and direction in the marketplace
  • Help partner realize Greensill company value through successful partner business growth using Greensill’s platform and services
  • GAD3 must position themselves as a key Originator support resource and demonstrate a concrete contribution to Origination revenue goals.

Lead all the Greensill business partner activities with nominated partner/s:

  • Build, agree internally and externally with the partner and manage a rolling 6 quarter business plan with the partner/s
  • Directly manage and focus all Greensill touch points with the partner
  • Work closely with the Greensill Product teams to ensure and manage alignment with the Product and technical objectives in the plan
  • Lead and or support Greensill partner solution development as required
  • Build a collaborative, multi geo, cross functional network within Greensill to achieve our Origination goals with the partner and the partnership objectives overall.
  •  Set up and lead appropriate cadence with key virtual team members
  • Construct and schedule quarterly executive partnership reviews.  Ensure these are driven by the business plan, controlled through vigorous agenda setting and outcomes are documented and driven through to the next QBR
  • Achieve partner buy in for the QBRs
  • Proactively manage all aspects of the business plan and report outputs internally and externally in a quarterly dashboard
  • Collaborate with partner marketing resources to establish and execute a global partner marketing plan including press policies
  • Where appropriate, secure joint MDF to launch and run campaigns, programmes and incentives
  • Represent the partnership with gravitas at key forums internally or externally:  Industry events, trade shows, networking events, press events.

Be responsible for implementing and managing a continuous programme of enablement and skills transfer

  • Drive Greensill business acumen, training and competency within the partner/s
  • Develop and execute a global partner enablement plan
  • Drive overall sense of confidence within the partner to use, recommend and deploy the joint capability
  • Drive product and solution roadmap discussions with partner
  • Deal with the partner with a high level of integrity and transparency to increase the speed of execution within the partnership

Manage and appropriate service model for joint clients

  • Greensill will only reach its growth goals through partnerships if we understand and service our joint clients in a timely and proactive way.
  • GAD 3 will be responsible for managing a joint service model for joint customers and ensuring that the appropriate model has a defined escalation route when things go wrong
  • GAD 3 will also manage an appropriate Governance structure for the joint partner-Greensill client and offerings so that we avoid the defined escalation routes wherever possible.

Skills and Abilities

  • 4+ years of commercial management experience with a clear successful track record of working in an aggressive, time driven Sales environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Experience of building and or managing joint GTM offerings with B2B partners in a Financial Services company, Bank or Fintech
  • Experience of building performant virtual teams across multiple company functions
  • An accomplished and confident communicator (spoken and written) to small and large groups
  • Can work independently and has excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working with a sense of urgency under pressure in a high growth business environment
  • Resilient and tenacious
  • Strong knowledge of partnership models and delivery and management methods is preferred
  • Additional language skills a big plus
  • Demonstrable global business experience
