Role Purpose

To provide high quality IT support to the business and to ensure that the IT systems and services are properly maintained and always available to the end users

Accountabilities

  • Answer and log incoming support calls/emails into the IT Management System.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logged support issues, in an efficient manner
  • Working on high impact issues to ensure services are resumed quickly
  • Provide hands on software and hardware support
  • Use reports to ensure users systems are running efficiently
  • Application administration & support
  • Provide high quality Customer Service and Communication
  • Meet response time and customer satisfaction targets
  • Support the configuration, maintenance and upgrading of a Microsoft Windows client environment

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience troubleshooting Windows version 7 or 10
  • Anti-Virus & Security
  • Experience with hardware support
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office & Office 365 desktop products
  • Experience of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VOIP systems
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • The desire to work with colleagues across the business to solve problems and get the best results for our clients
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys finding innovative ways to solve problems, focused on getting to the root of an issue
  • High degree of personal integrity, honesty and professionalism
  • Thrives in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Can-do mindset and self-motivated
  • Passion about chosen area of functional specialism and desire to learn
