Role Purpose

Responsible for the Country entity including the management of the P&L and balance sheet with due corporate governance. Lead sales and relationships for origination, execution and relationship management for select Greensill client and partnership targets with significant P&L accountability.

  • Establish relationship and maintain regular dialogue with regulators and other relevant authorities
  • Ensure compliance of the local entity with laws and regulations
  • Manage and have oversight of risk exposure (credit and operational risk) of the local entities
  • Perform client calling for origination, both face to face as well as over the telephone and email
  • Manage key partnerships and clients on a global basis with respect to client satisfaction, net revenues, cross sell and credit
  • Cooperate and work with Greensill´s external partners and alliances when executing transactions
  • Cooperate with the global teams in Origination and all other internal stakeholders and communicate transparently
  • Maintain internal management systems such as client records and deal tracking
  • Lead and manage deal execution in cooperation with all areas of the firm including distribution, credit, legal and operations
  • Work closely and proactively with the legal department to advance NDA and contract negotiations with clients
  • Provide thought leadership and represent Greensill in partnership with the marketing and public relations teams

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in an international banking and/or trade finance position
  • Significant experience originating deals in China
  • Ability to generate leads and revenue in a similar financial services sales environment
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Demonstrable credit and structuring skills
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrable ability to coach and mentor
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and across multiple time zones
