Role Purpose

In this role, the Issue Analyst is responsible for the management, resolution and fulfilment of issues across areas in scope of the process.

Accountabilities

  • Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the issue management processes
  • Producing and acting upon management information, including SLA performance KPIs and reports to continually improve in scope areas
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of issue management and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining the issue management process
  • Reviewing and auditing the process
  • Ensuring that all teams follow the issue management processes for every issue
  • Acting as an escalation point
  • Stay appraised of industry best practice and where applicable introduce as part of continuous improvement
  • Input into Continuous Improvement, Change Management, IT Development
  • Creation and maintenance of work instructions, knowledge base articles and other operational documentation

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience of working within a quality control environment
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to build relationships across all business units
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced time driven environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise requests and workload
  • Experience of driving processes /control improvement
  • Relationship building with senior level members of the organisation
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a high degree of drive, determination and motivation to succeed
  • Strong stakeholder management, presentation and report writing skills
