Role Purpose

As part of our continued growth we are looking for an IT Technician, with Windows Server and Network skills to provide a quality and efficient customer to service to our colleagues.

  • Answer and log incoming support calls/emails into the IT Management System
  • Provide high quality Customer Service and Communication
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logged support issues, in an efficient manner
  • Working on high impact issues to ensure services are resumed quickly
  • Provide hands on software and hardware support
  • Use reports to ensure users systems are running efficiently
  • Application administration & support (Enterprise and in house built)
  • Meet response time and customer satisfaction targets
  • Support the configuration, maintenance and upgrading of a Microsoft Windows client environment.
  • Be involved in both reactive and problem management of customer IT issues in line with ITIL best practices

Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant qualifications/experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience of configuring, maintaining and upgrading Windows 7,10 and Anti-Virus & Security
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office & Office 365 desktop products
  • Experience of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VOIP systems
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Customer centric mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Thrive in a collaborative team working environment
  • Solutions orientated
  • Recognised IT qualification such as NVQ
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • There will be an occasional need to travel to other UK sites
