Role Purpose

Accountable for developing and improving existing processes between the Middle Office and Operations. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by Greensill you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude and a high attention to detail within tight deadlines.

Accountabilities

  • Daily call with Trading Operations at 7.30am to discuss the days’ trading
  • Support Trading Operations in accurately processing high value, high-risk transactions both in primary and secondary markets within set timescales
  • Liaise directly with external investors and funds on the trades settlements
  • Liaise with the Support Operations team on the late maturity payments and subsequently escalate with the investors/funds
  • Liaise with Citi, Clearstream, Distributors and other parties essential to the daily trading/distribution activities
  • Develop new and improve the existing processes between Operations and investors to achieve maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Oversee the secondary trades process
  • On-boarding of new obligors with Distributors, liaison with the Project Management, Product and Origination teams
  • Maintenance of the on-boarding docs for Distributors
  • Support Head of Middle Office and the senior members of the Distribution team

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in Back or Middle Office role in financial services
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Results orientated with the ability to see a project through to completion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and learning on the job
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a highly dynamic, flat and entrepreneurial environment
  • Taking the initiative as part of a normal work ethic
  • Drive and desire to contribute as part of a successful team
