Role Purpose

As an Origination Analyst your role will be to support the banking teams conducting research, analysing and preparing client materials. You will work closely with our Origination team in a highly dynamic, flat and entrepreneurial environment. This opportunity also offers a global credit training placement with our Credit Team based in the U.K.

Accountabilities

  • Supporting bankers in components of the sales and origination process
  • Client calling for origination, both face-to-face as well as over the telephone and email
  • Developing and maintaining internal management systems such as client records and deal tracking
  • Supporting bankers in components of the credit administration process including preparation of credit and portfolio analysis
  • Some travel across Australia and to Singapore for client calling purposes as needed
  • Work with a global team across multiple time zones
  • Working with the Legal department to advance NDA and contract negotiations when required
  • As needed, supporting onboarding of suppliers for assigned client programs in conjunction with onboarding teams

Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant experience in a banking or trade position
  • Exceptional attention to detail and appearance of work product
  • Knowledge of finance and statistical analysis capabilities
  • Proven experience of producing effective presentations
  • Outstanding written and visual communication skills
  • Drive and desire to contribute as part of a successful team
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Languages are advantageous (in particular, French, German, Spanish, Italian)
