Role Purpose

To support the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team in meeting business objectives relating to upcoming large payroll projects. This is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months.

Accountabilities

Provide an efficient and customer focused project delivery:

  • Working with various key stakeholders to identify payroll and business requirements
  • Creating and updating all payroll project plans and communicating project updates to key stakeholders
  • Ensuring technical and statutory requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely project delivery

Accurate and timely delivery of projects:

  • Configuring and delivering payroll implementations in various overseas countries
  • Liaising with third party providers to ensure they are fully equipped to provide accurate service delivery once implementation passes to service delivery teams
  • Setting up all payment and banking processes
  • Managing all interfaces, reports and system configurations
  • Business process mapping
  • Define and maintain project governance for each project
  • Risk management and escalation of risks and issues impacting successful delivery of each project

Skills and Abilities

  •  Proven experience in Payroll Project delivery, minimum of 5 years in similar roles
  • Outstanding analytical ability, problem solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience and understanding of the complexities in processing global payrolls such as US and India
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Understand the need to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Customer centric mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to engage with individuals at all levels
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Inquisitive with desire to learn in a complex environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert/Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Project management qualification or demonstrable experience of delivering projects to a defined and trusted methodology
