Role Purpose

Greensill is looking for Product Management Associates based in London, United Kingdom. The role of an Associate in the Product Management team is to support the Product Managers in the design, development, positioning and expansion of markets across various products and platforms being deployed. This role will focus across a variety of products (Supply Chain Finance, Accounts Receivable Finance, Inventory Finance, Data Driven Finance etc.). You will be directly working on the creation and development of these products ground up and support their delivery to clients and sales success through innovative marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Provide proactive support to the Product Managers across the London team
  • Support the team with the planning and execution of product launches, new partnerships, country expansions across cross-functional teams (spanning product, marketing, technology, sales and distribution)
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of key projects
  • Assisting in the design, development and management of end-to-end delivery for the product and partnerships in conjunction with internal (Origination, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology and Distribution) and external stakeholders
  • Acquire subject matter expertise for the products across the organisation, including a deep understanding of the front to back processes, specifically operational, distribution, risk and legal matters
  • Sales Enablement – equip the sales team with a deep understanding of how our products solve problems for our customers, and how they are differentiated from other vendors in the space
  • Provide structuring advice and support at a transactional level
  • Take ownership of problems and projects to ensure effective delivery
  • Preparation of presentations, reports and adhoc deliverables
  • To maintain an understanding of how the organisation is structured in an ever changing environment
  • Independent problem solving and escalation of issues as required
  • Manage and monitor the product guides for each product, ensuring they are up-to-date with any changes
  • Develop a range of customer testimonials for external/internal use, including written case studies
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Greensill products and features by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Use competitive intelligence, client feedback, sales feedback and market trends to help our product and technology teams develop new features and products, and deliver additional value for our clients
  • Craft content that aligns with our corporate and product messaging and will resonate with our prospects and clients
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our corporate client buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to win
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your assigned products

Skills and Abilities

  • A willingness and ability to thrive in a flexible role with changing day-to-day requirements
  • A deep understanding and appreciation of the financial and banking market
  • An ability to think outside of knowledge silo’s and an absolute willingness to learn an expand horizons
  • Product management, Structuring, Sales experience in large Financial Institutions/Fintechs OR Finance, Procurement, Sales in Large Corporates
  • An appreciation and understanding of the various components that make up the product offering to corporate clients, i.e. Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations
  • Proven success developing marketing messaging and programs that drive sales success and demand creation
  • A strong understanding of the markets we serve as well as the competitive landscape in which we operate
  • Collaborative team player; work well with others and able to impact and influence without reporting lines
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically; easily able to switch between thinking and doing
  • Technical curiosity and a proven ability to master financial and technical subject matter
  • Exceptional communication skills. You’re a gifted conversationalist, listener, writer, editor, and debater
  • Articulate and skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple straightforward way
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity
