Role Purpose

Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of cost plans; maintaining cost managers as the primary owners of the cost budget. Ensure that cost plans enable and enhance business performance.

Accountabilities

  • In conjunction with the Team Head and cost budget holders, create and implement cost plans that align to the business strategy and its associated resource requirements
  • Build and maintain healthy and productive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership and deliver high impact global solutions in areas such as:
    • Project and activity cost analysis
    • Cost optimisation
    • Cost allocations
    • Resource planning
    • Financial modelling
  • Anticipate and facilitate change
  • Provide expert input across a range of Finance topics
  • Promote best practice in Finance, acting as an ambassador for the Finance function
  • Keep up-to-date with external Finance trends and best practice
  • Provide relevant, insightful and actionable analysis

Skills and Abilities

  • Qualified and experienced accountant
  • Costs business partnering experience, preferably in a technology focused environment
  • Financial modelling experience
