Greensill Means Agribusiness: Meet the People Changing Finance to Change Farming

Greensill is literally rooted in the world of farming.

The Greensill journey began in 1945 when Roy Greensill ploughed, raised and cut 200 acres of sugar cane by hand, bringing home the first Greensill harvest and laying the foundation for what was to come. In just two generations his grandsons Lex and Peter have transformed that first harvest into a multi-billion-dollar global fintech that’s changing finance to change the world.

Today, Greensill’s presence in agribusiness is expanding, with a new team dedicated to unlocking capital for the entire agricultural production chain.

The agricultural sector contains many complex businesses with differing needs. Understanding the business flow and go-to-market strategies for a particular client is important. There are countless variables that can affect their performance, sometimes dramatically. Greensill understands this.

Our global operation is equipped to address the needs of the entire agriculture sector, from farm to table, in ways that traditional finance providers simply cannot.

Meet our new, best-in-class agricultural finance team, and learn more about how we are unlocking capital so companies can put it to work.
