Support Engineer – Documents and Collaboration

Role Purpose

To support and ensure the smooth running of documents and collaboration technology in Greensill, via technical work or helping users. Greensill is currently transitioning to a mostly Microsoft-based technology stack in this area (Sharepoint and Teams).

  • Making changes to Microsoft stack technology, which may result from business requests, or as part of larger projects, and includes helping users regarding usage, and may involve giving training, and writing guidelines etc.
  • May be required to spend some time supporting 3rd party systems which are not in the Microsoft stack.

Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant qualifications/experience in a similar role, alongside the ability to use initiative when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Sharepoint and/or Office 365 certification
  • Experience with implementing and configuring SharePoint sites
  • Experience with supporting Microsoft Teams
  • Preferred – wider experience with collaboration technology, and documents and records management technology.
  • Preferred – appreciation of IT security, such as ISO 27001.
  • Preferred – experienced with telephony and VOIP
  • Experience of working at speed and under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Thrives in a collaborate teamworking environment
  • Customer centric mindset with a can-do attitude
  • High degree of personal integrity, honesty and professionalism
