Role Purpose

Working as part of the growing Operations team, you will be responsible for the flawless setup and processing of trade finance transactions: this will involve ensuring that correct procedures are followed, relevant documentation prepared and correctly executed/checked, in an accurate and timely manner.

Accountabilities

  • Support the business with the creation, execution and monitoring of high value trade finance transactions
  • Develop and maintain internal management systems such as client records and deal tracking
  • Assist with and advise on client account setup in checking documents and setting up bespoke systems
  • Account monitoring and reconciliation of high value inbound payments
  • Manage internal and partner communications relating specific clients/transactions via email and telephone

Skills and Abilities

 

  • You must have several years solid experience from the financial services or investment industry within a technical, processing role
  • Strong skills in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work in a process-driven environment, but equally comfortable in using initiative when dealing with more ambiguous, complex queries
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in using bespoke systems
  • Track record of productivity and process improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
  • Degree educated (or equivalent) would be desirable
