Role Purpose

The role of a senior Product manager at Greensill is to design, develop, position, implement and maintain its KYC /AML onboarding process for our corporate and individual clients and stakeholders. You will participate in the creation and development of these processes ground up and be ultimately responsible for their delivery to clients, for reducing the sales cycle and enabling risk teams to monitor and report on the compliance requirements of the business.

  • Act as subject matter expert for remote, digital KYC onboarding. 
  • Design, develop and manage the end to end delivery for the systems and processes in partnership with other parts of the organization including Origination, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology and Distribution. 
  • Work with the risk and compliance teams to enable them to easily manage monitoring and reporting requirements. 
  • To leverage technology solutions to increase throughput of our existing Client due diligence (CDD)  
  • Plan and execute product launches across cross-functional teams (spanning product, marketing, technology, sales)  
  • Work with the Verdi team to ensure that in our new “replatformed” world we will have smooth, efficient and optimised KYC. 
  • Sales Enablement – enable sales teams to seamlessly onboard new buyers and suppliers with new country roll out teams ensuring that when we enter new countries, we will have efficient KYC approaches applicable to those markets 
  • Work with our Earnd team to ensure that we have the latest and greatest solution from an individual CDD point of view. 

Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant and deep expertise in digital KYC and AML for individuals, corporates and juristic entities
  • Broad experience in Banking and Finance industry with an understanding of Trade Finance products including Supply Chain Finance, Accounts Receivables Finance, Inventory finance
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, STEM or a related discipline
  • Has started or worked in a startup business in the Fintech or Regtech domains
  • Has an ownership mindset, can step up, take responsibility, innovate and quickly evolve and adapt with new technologies 
  • An understanding of the various components that make up the product offering to corporate clients, i.e. Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations 
  • Is a problem solver, can think in terms of systems and processes
  • Track record of successfully launching technically complex products in regulated industries 
  • Strong positioning and messaging skills; able to craft clear and simple messages that work
  • An expert in understanding the markets we serve as well as the competitive landscape in which we operate  
  • Collaborative team player; work well with others and able to impact and influence without reporting lines
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically; easily able to switch between thinking and doing
  • Technical curiosity and a proven ability to master financial and technical subject matter. You love getting into the weeds
  • Exceptional communication skills. You’re a gifted conversationalist, listener, writer, editor, and debater
  • Articulate and skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple straightforward way
  • Ability to work independently
