The Australian: Lex Greensill’s $US500m Raising for Growth After Weathering COVID Storm

“Everywhere we look the demand is off the charts. That offering, together with our supply chain portfolio, our mobile phone handset financing and our offerings in the agriculture space, they have all created opportunities for us to continue to grow.”

Greensill, which now employs 1100 staff worldwide, will close its books on December 31 with just under A$1bn in revenue for 2020, up from more than A$600m last year.

“It will be more than 50 per cent up on last year. Next year we expect to be around A$1.25bn or thereabouts for the year. That gives us a compound average growth rate of 80 per cent over the past five years,” he says.
